Simply snap a photo of your kicks in actions and hashtag it in the comment field with #Sanuk and they will magically appear in our NEW Instagram Tab.

Press “Done” and… Voilà, you’re on your way to becoming the coolest kid on the block (And by block we of course mean Internet. Duh).

There’s already a handful in the ever-growing collection, so let’s have some fun! Oh, did we mention it’s free? Because it like, so totally is.

If this ain’t for you, that’s cool too. You’re still rad in our eyes. Except that one dude – He’s still a jerk.

Sanuk Introduces New Photo Series: Shayne’s Sanuks

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

While most known for his travel-inspired show, On Surfari, Shayne McIntyre, is a man of many talents. More dashing than George Clooney and armed with a proper cutback (a surfing term, NOT a sexual innuendo), Shayne travels the world with his family in search of surf, adventure and smiles.

So what does a traveling family bring on their many journeys around the globe? Let’s see… surfboards, gear, wax, trunks, supplies, entertainment for the kids, cameras, and of course- Sanuks- the ultimate travel companions.

This is where Shayne’s idea enters the frame (Pun definitely intended).

Shayne came to the our Creative Team with a novel vision- one through which he could share the sights he and his Sanuks see from the far reaches of the globe. Without further ado, allow us to introduce a new project near and dear to our soles called, Shayne’s Sanuks.

Chapter 1 comes to you from the McyIntyre’s current stomping grounds: Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

To catch Shayne and his family in the act, brush up on his show, On Surfari, which currently airs on Fuel TV.

Shayne will also be appearing in an upcoming, side-splitting episode of SANUK NEWS!

Donavon Frankenreiter Spreads Some Aloha with New “Revisited” Album

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

Sanuk’s Donavon Frankenreiter is at it again…

YouTube Preview Image

Donny has just released “Revisited”, a complete reinterpretation of his 2004 self-titled debut. Don’t sleep on this one because this aint just a re-recording. Oh no bruddah-  the mustachioed maestro has some big time aloha spirit that gets conveyed through a myriad of hawaiian melodies and new sounds.

According to his Facebook, Donavon “felt inspired to pour his newfound love for the Hawaiian sound and laid back island vibe into a creative medium”. On the record you’ll find your body swaying to some traditional Hawaiian instruments.  Ukuleles, lap steel and slack key guitars give a “completely new sound to favorites like ‘It Don’t Matter’ and ‘Free’. So, grab yourself a big ol’ mixplate, an ice cold island lager and throw couple shakas because summer has a new soundtrack.
