HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sanuk’s video mastermind, Scott “The Bone” Nichols!
Born with a 7D in hand and a pair of noise-canceling headphones on ears, Scott set his crooked sights on taking over the web at an early age. According to an anonymous source, his very first word was “rendering”.
Today, after blowing out the imaginary candles on his grocery store cupcakes, Scotty proceeded to “get his inner-princess on” by working on a fresh, new edit.
Cute balloons, dude…
Wish “the Bone” a Happy Birthday by watching some of his most recent masterpieces:
Looking to break out of the norm, Sanuk teamriders, AJ Collins, Taylor Pai and Eric Tomlinson find a new hemisphere to explore. Struck with a sudden case of déjà vu and an urge to dance, the trio venture into new territory to find freshly harvested wine, an odd topless creature* and all of Australia in the Snapper Rocks line up.

Meet Sanuk’s world-travelling surf, contest machine and scholastic dominator, miss Amy Nicholl.
Hailing from New Smyrna Beach, Flordia Amy is the real deal. In recent years, she has amassed a long list of surfing achievements including an ESA Eastern Championship, three ESA Southeast Regional titles, three ESA Scholastic Championships, an NSSA East Coast Girl’s title and an Explorer Women title. At just 16, Amy became the Surfing America under 16 Girl’s Champion and a Rip Curl National Grom Search Champion. Phew!
And according to Amy, now 20 years of age, the biggest highlight of her amateur career was “having been a 3 year member of the ESA All Star Team and a 3 year member of the USA Surf Team”. Needless to say, Amy has pretty much perfected this maneuver:
We like to call it, the “Check Please!”
When Amy isn’t in the water kickin’ major bootay in her contest heats, she can be found in the undergraduate program at the University of Central Florida studying marketing and captain-ing the UCF Surf Team.
When the waves go flat in Florida, Amy can be found behind the boat enjoying her new hobby- wake surfing.
…Proving sometimes you’ve got to spin it to win it!
With heavy snow pack throughout most of California, the northern drainages have been hit hard these last few weeks. For Sanuk kayaker, Shon Bollock, it provided the perfect opportunity to vacate his humble abode (which is now an editing fortress) and “get the face wet”.

“The Sacramento is one of the smaller drainages in California but holds water extremely well and can be run as high as it ever gets,” proclaimed Mr. Bollock on his site.
Here is the latest self-shot, self-editedd video Shon put together from a session on the Tunnel of Love section of Mears Creek, Sacramento.
