What’s better than getting to shred for a good cause? Nada! That’s why BambooSK8 will be hosting their Octobomb Launch Party!

Crawl out of the woodworks and join Sanuk as we plan to shred some of BambooSK8’s new eco-friendly bamboo skateboards. They’ve got shortboards and longboards for all your shredding needs. Proceeds from the event will be going to National Wildlife Federation to aid in Gulf Coast Efforts.

Every year surf retail juggernaut (and friends of Sanuk), Huntington Surf and Sport, hosts their annual “SanO Day”. As an old school, family-style beach day at San Onofre State Beach, SanO Day has become a full-fledged day-o-fun.
Everyone from HSS shop employees and family members to friends and random passersby’s turn out to share some waves, get crispy and celebrate summer like it’s nobody’s business.
Even though SanO Day did have a few “official” sponsors for the event, that didn’t stop Sanuk from sneaking in some fünk to the party. All was calm and collected until suddenly, out of nowhere, Official Donny mustaches started popping up unexpectedly. The Secret ‘Stache Sneak Attack was in full effect. Bow-chica-bow-wow!
A now, a few shots taken amongst the madness…
HSS Employees of the Day feeling Sanukified!
Sanuk Intern, Adam “Walk the Talk” Walker reporting for duty!
“Do these floaties make my ‘stache look big?”
General consensus: Everyday should be SanO Day!

It’s summer time (at least where we’re at). This means there a little more time to sit back and catch up on all the surfing you’ve been missing out on during your 9-5. One of the best parts of summer is all the new DVD releases and film tours.
Surf films are taking over the universe as we know it! Each one we’ve come across has it’s own unique view point. Each has its own fresh take on the world of surfing. Dark Fall, a new HD flick by Alex DePhillipo, does just that- covering a crew of the hard working, hard charging warriors of New Jersey.
While New Jersey isn’t exactly top of mind when it comes to surfing, the boys from the right coast aren’t strangers to standing on top of a podium. Dark Fall follows dedicated rippers Dean Randazzo, Sam Hammer, Sanuk teamrider Andrew Gesler and many more in perfect (and frigid) New Jersey and beyond…

Everyone’s hyped on this one (including us) See why right now.
Got the bug? Need more? Gotta have that fix? Pop over to www.darkfallthemovie.com for all you can handle.

The Arco Rock Legends Nominees have been announced! Sanuk’s Chris Sharma has (yet again) snagged a place in the running for the Salewa Rock Award. Chris was last year’s winner and is looking to repeat!

In total, five athletes have been nominated for the Salewa Rock Award. The four other nominees include Charlotte Durif from France, Enzo Oddo- a 15-year-old French climber, Adam Ondra –a Czech teenage speed demon, and Daniel Woods – an American climber with his second nomination. The fifth annual ARCO Rock Legends competition will be held on Saturday, July 17 in Arco (That’s in Italy). Anyone want to meet us for gelato afterwards? Our treat…
