Sanuk Surfer Matt Pagan Submits Stylish Video Part to Innersection.tv

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Sanuk surf teamer, Matt Pagan, has submitted an incredible video part to Innersection.tv that showcases his talents at one of California’s most esteemed waves- Lower Trestles.

As a collaborative effort with his filmmaking brother, Matt cranked to meet the deadline for submission. He needs YOUR help to make the cut. His part is so stylee we had to take second look. And a third, fourth and fifth.

Here is some feedback Matt has gotten regarding his part! (Note: Innersection brainman, Taylor Steele, dropping some love)

About Innersection.TV (according to the site itself):

IT’S PRETTY SIMPLE. Surfers/filmers put their sections on the site (week 1). Members rate the sections on a 1-10 scale (week 2), which narrows the field down to Top 10 finalists. Then Members rank the Top 10 in order of preference: 1 thru 10 (week 3). After that, (week 4) we announce the winners and do it all over again.

The five highest rated surf sections will then become part of the Innersection surf movie. They will have the rest of the year to improve their section before it goes on the final DVD.

The final Innersection DVD will include the year’s top 20 sections — five qualifiers from four Rounds of competition. From these 20, you will decide which section deserves the grand prize of $100,000.

Go make your eyes and ears happy now. If you like what Matt has served up, VOTE and give him some love!

Sanuk’s Christian Corzo Gets Muy Caliente in Mexico Men’s Health

Tuesday, September 7th, 2010

Ay caramba! Who’s the stud? No, not that chiseled dude on the left… We’re talking about international man of mystery and Sanuk surf teamer, Christian Corzo. What you’re gazing at is his recent appearance in Mexico Men’s Health Magazine. With moves like Zorro, Christian has been making washboard abs look like yesterday’s beanbag. He’s the muchacho all the señoritas want to do the macarena with and the hombre all the luchadores wanna dunk in salsa verde.

Hopefully you’ve brushed up on that Spanish, or else you’re going to have one heck of a tiempo reading the article… ¡Arriba!

Sanuk’s Alek Parker Chases Hurricane Swells with a Smile on His Face

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Sanuk surf-teamer, Alek Parker, knows a thing or two about big blobs on the radar. Blobs? Yes. Blobs. Big ones like these…

That blob happens to be Hurricane Alex. Say hello. Classified as a “tropical depression”, Hurricane Alex has generated some solid surf along the Gulf Coast. Parker has been chasing blobs like Hurricane Alex all year. Needless to say, it’s go time! Most recently, Alex and friends went on a Transworld Surf excursion to get some shots. Good thing the photogs had their lenses ready, because Alek put on a show.Check out the fruits of his labor of love:

Sanuk Secret ‘Stache Sneak Attack at HSS SanO Day.

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Every year surf retail juggernaut (and friends of Sanuk), Huntington Surf and Sport, hosts their annual “SanO Day”. As an old school, family-style beach day at San Onofre State Beach, SanO Day has become a full-fledged day-o-fun.

Everyone from HSS shop employees and family members to friends and random passersby’s turn out to share some waves, get crispy and celebrate summer like it’s nobody’s business.

Even though SanO Day did have a few “official” sponsors for the event, that didn’t stop Sanuk from sneaking in some fünk to the party. All was calm and collected until suddenly, out of nowhere, Official Donny mustaches started popping up unexpectedly. The Secret ‘Stache Sneak Attack was in full effect. Bow-chica-bow-wow!

A now, a few shots taken amongst the madness…

HSS Employees of the Day feeling Sanukified!

“Do these floaties make my ‘stache look big?”

General consensus: Everyday should be SanO Day!
